[00:00:00] Hello and welcome to the Business of Executive Coaching Podcast. So on this podcast, and really in everything I do in business these days, I am all about practical advice and support specifically for executive coaches. Now, you might prefer different language like leadership, coach or organizational coach, but if you are a coach working with leaders or with organizational or corporate clients.
You are who I'm talking about, right? You're, you are my people. So if that's you or if that is where you want to be, then listen in today, because I am really excited to share that I'm going to be opening doors to the accelerator, the group coaching program that I run. In June with an official launch, a great live event that I'm running, as well as some juicy bonuses, but most importantly, we are adding some really exciting features to the accelerator.
So I wanted to share a few of those with you today. I wanted to let you know how you can get involved if you would like to get access to these new [00:01:00] features at the current prices before prices go up in July. Which will reflect all the new investments that we are making in the program. So firstly, just a little bit of background on me, if you are new to the podcast.
I love coaches because, you know, coaches are really good people. But it wasn't until a few years ago that I started working, , primarily, if not exclusively, with coaches. It was a a passion project of, of sorts for. For many years I've been working with coaches informally, and as a mentor and, and I really loved that.
And so as my coaching business grew and grew, I realized more and more how much I really loved working with coaches, particularly the ones that were in my team of coaches. And it wasn't just that I enjoyed it. what I found is that working with coaches for me is like unlocking a huge amount of potential positive impact in the world.
Like it is a. Positive ripple effect that I [00:02:00] couldn't have imagined. So I know that if I can have a certain amount of impact as a coach, and I know that that's what's important for my clients, then I, I wondered what I could do if I was enabling more and more coaches to be able to do this work in the world and do it successfully and meaningfully and profitably and all of those good things.
I also knew that the biggest barrier for coaches who were going into business wasn't that they weren't great coaches, it was that they didn't understand how to grow businesses, how to, gain visibility, how to gain new clients, and they struggled believing in their ability to, to do that. And so all the work I do now, and particularly inside the corporate to Coach Accelerator is all about unlocking coaches to do incredible work.
Firstly, by believing in themselves and that they have all that it takes to run a successful business. And then secondly, by giving them all of the tools, systems, and support that they need to do it. And so the way I do that is through my flagship program, the Corporate to [00:03:00] Coach Accelerator, or we call it the Accelerator for short.
So a bit of the story behind the name, one of the big reasons for building the accelerator is that I know so many coaches set up coaching businesses only for it to stall because they thought that when they started their coaching business. That was the hard bit and that clients would come to them, but this is not how it works.
And many of these people have ended up going back to full-time jobs and there's no shade in that choice, right? Business is not for everyone, but I see it happening time and time again with people who are. Such great coaches, not because they wanted to go back to a job, but because they never learned how to do business.
And specifically they never learned how to get new corporate clients, how to build a business and how to be profitable. And you know, the other thing is that even done really well. It is realistic to expect that growing a business can take up to two years of working pretty hard, to build a significant [00:04:00] enough client base to know that your business is sustainable and is going to continue to grow, to be where you need or want it to be.
So. I wanted to do something about that. I want my program, the accelerator, to cut that learning curve in half and to have my members be up and running or to be at the next stage if they are more experienced coaches with a really solid pipeline in 12 months rather than closer to two years. I. So, you know, accelerator refers to me sharing all the things I've learned from building successful coaching businesses, to accelerate your growth and to halve the time of, of your learning curve.
So what do you get if you are a member of the accelerator? So. First and foremost, and this is sort of more the outcomes we work towards or the, the experiences that, that we have in that, in that first 12 months, is that first and foremost, we want to build a layer of financial stability by working towards your next 10 corporate clients for high value engagements.
And I know that this is [00:05:00] the most important part of starting a business. And we focus on getting clients right from the start. I also want you to build your business development, your marketing approach, meaning your strategy and your regularly scheduled activities, routines, or habits in a way that is systematized and in a way that is time bounded, so you can complete it in five hours or less per week.
Now there's an investment of time to get to that point, right? In all of the assets and foundations. When we get there, then we wanna make it habitual. We wanna make it fun. We wanna make it something that is, you know, almost a, a routine rather than being angst filled or stressful and never feeling like you are complete.
And part of this is that we'll build your sales pipeline based on leveraging your professional background. you'll also have support to check off. Check off all the basics, right? All of the foundational assets that you need. And we'll put time boundaries around that because often this is what derails people, they [00:06:00] don't get their website up.
They don't write their coaching buyer, and this becomes a blocker to them getting out there and, and making sales. Or it might be that you have these things but they don't feel quite right and you need to review them. So we have curriculum. We aim to do those in a maximum of three months, 90 days. With a lot of support to help you do that.
We've got templates, we've got, asset reviews, we've got everything you need. You're also going to build a PR plan that prioritizes your life, right? So we want you to be clear on what does flexibility look like for you. so if you wanna take Fridays off, excellent. Wanna do school drop offs and picks good.
Wanna go cycling with your buddies every day? Fantastic. we want you to build your business your way. We also keep in mind that we are here to do really good and important work, and the building is here to enable that. We can't do this really good work if we don't have a solid business, but equally, our businesses are really not meaningful if we don't stay connected to our purpose.
And then finally, we know that people starting [00:07:00] businesses are lonely. They're often a little adrift. And while our spouses and our friends are great support, it isn't the same as having a mentor and it isn't the same as having a group of peers. So, support, accountability, eyes on your business community.
These are all also very important outcomes. And so to better achieve all of these outcomes, I have made some big and exciting additions to the accelerator. And I wanna share these with you, because I dunno if you can hear, but I'm very excited about it. So I wanna go through what is in the accelerator and the five big additions that are coming between now and August for anyone who is either already inside the accelerator.
Hello. If you're listening to my current members, I know you do. Or if you are new, so. I'm sort of gonna summarize what is already in there and then I'll point out what the new bits are as I go through. So, inside the accelerator there are three courses, like digital self-paced courses that form the foundational curriculum.
That is, is all the basics of, of what you need to do [00:08:00] to, to grow your thriving business. We have the Corporate to Coach Blueprint. This is a foundational. Everything you need to know about a corporate coaching business type of course. and in this, it covers everything from compliance to mapping out your ideal week, to building your visual brand, to sales conversations, to understanding what associate coaching is, what assessments you should get certified in, how to set up as a supplier, what an engagement looks like in an organization, when to hire help, how to prioritize your professional development.
It is comprehensive and it is a really great place to start, particularly if you are new to business, but where people generally start and where I always encourage people to dive right in. It is the 90 Day Quick Start program. So this program is all about getting to the things that matter quickly, and the things that matter in this case are the foundational assets of your business.
We need them to be done quickly. We need them to be [00:09:00] done well, and to some degree we want them. Out of the way, or at least we want the building out of the way so that you can focus on business building. And the problem is that I've seen people get derailed at this point, right? Derailed at the point of writing a website, building a coaching bio, updating a LinkedIn page.
And when you get derailed at this point, it often means you stop yourself getting out there and marketing yourself. And so. This course is intended to help you build all those basics, right? So we go through your ideal clients, your offers, your coaching bio, your LinkedIn page, and your website. We do it in a time boundaried way, and we do it in a way that minimizes the internal chatter so that you can have it in place and you can move on to actually building your business.
And so the next piece of curriculum is the Business Development Accelerator framework. And this covers all of the foundations you need in terms of how you are going to get new [00:10:00] customers with a focus on two things. Firstly, what are the foundations you need in place? And that includes your sales pipeline, your content strategy, and then it focuses on the rituals that are going to allow you to complete your sales and marketing activities in five hours a week.
And we have four key tasks that are in that five hours. Things like. writing and posting content, outreach strategy, growing a network and, and engagement, right? So all of those things, are included. but at the heart of the accelerator, so that's the curriculum. But at the heart of the accelerator, I would say the coaching, and we have weekly coaching calls that you can choose to, come to as often as you need.
So these coaching calls are q and a style. They're at multiple time zones, so there will always be something that works for your time zone and people bring questions about what they're working through in the curriculum, or we do deal clinics, or we do outreach strategy brainstorming, or we do some hot seat coaching on mindset.[00:11:00]
It is a hundred percent what is needed for you in the moment. There are two very exciting additions that I'm pleased to add to our schedule. and one is that once a month our calls are now going to have a very specific focus on LinkedIn. I'm a pretty advanced user of LinkedIn, I'd say, and I know that I can't be possibly be across everything that is happening.
So we have the wonderful Kate Merriweather, who you might recognize from a previous episode. Coming to join us monthly as our resident LinkedIn expert, and this will be your chance every month to get advice, get feedback, find out what is changing, and use LinkedIn most effectively. Because when we're working with corporate clients, it is our primary marketing tool.
The second very exciting addition to our monthly schedule is that we are adding coaching supervision with an extraordinary coaching supervisor and long-term friend of the business of executive coaching podcast, [00:12:00] and that is Louise Kovac, Dr. Louise Kovac, I should say Louise will be offering group supervision in small groups are monthly and I really.
Felt quite passionate about adding supervision to what we do because while the accelerator is on the surface, a coaching business program, not a coaching practice training program, I think that supervision sits between coaching practice and coaching business. It is a reflective practice, a developmental practice that is at the core.
of the success of most executive coaches, and it is also something that can feel out of reach or perhaps daunting to participate in when you are starting or growing your business. So this is a way that. All accelerator members can have the opportunity to participate in supervision on a regular basis.
Now, if you want to learn more about what supervision is, and I think we will have [00:13:00] another podcast episode on that soon, drop me a message and I can share some more information with you. We also inside the accelerator, offer reviews of your assets. So I mentioned in, in, one of the pieces of curriculum, the quick start challenge, the 90 day quick start.
you develop all your assets. Well, something else we offer is that you submit. those assets like your coach bio, your website, your LinkedIn profile, your ideal client, and offer worksheets and you'll get personalized video feedback on those assets. and an exciting change to this is that instead of it just being me, giving you feedback and, and don't get me wrong, I think my feedback is pretty excellent.
you'll also going to be receiving expert feedback on some of those assets. So things like your LinkedIn bio. From someone who is across all of the latest trends and is much more, ahead of the curve, so that is very exciting. inside the accelerator, all starters also have a one-on-one personal onboarding call.[00:14:00]
This lets us, make sure that we have all the context about your background, your goals, to do some brainstorming, to go through your pathway inside the curriculum, and make sure that you are, you know, often running and that there is. You know, you're not sitting with any confusion about the accelerator and your engagement in it.
We wanna eliminate any blockers or anything that is keeping you stuck. So we address those right from the start, and that could be practical or mindset, you know, all of it. Other things we have inside the accelerator is that we have a private podcast feed. this is a way that people can catch up on coaching calls.
So all of our coaching calls go onto the private podcast feed and we tag, you know, we have quite good show notes that tag by subject so you can dip in and out, look at what feels interesting, particularly if you weren't able to make it. And gosh, there is so much more. but I haven't mentioned the portal.
So the portal, I guess, is, is, is part curriculum. and inside the portal there's a collection [00:15:00] of on demand masterclasses, workshop series, guest experts, everything we've ever run inside the accelerator that is outside of the, the ordinary group coaching calls and. That includes sessions on everything from chemistry, conversations to outreach strategies to financial management, to your tech stack and more.
it's also the home to a set of templates that save you time, including coaching, bio template, proposal template, quotation template. Anything that I can give you to help save you time, I will. And we are adding two new templates, which I'm super excited about, including firstly. A bank of warm outreach templates so that when you are sitting there knowing that you need to reach out to people in your network and you are thinking about what strategies to use to, to do that, we have got, we will have, well, we will have a bank of ideas for you to work from.
This is often a big barrier to doing warm outreach. so I'm really pleased to add this too. Save time and hopefully. [00:16:00] Avoid procrastination or the, you know, the emotional labor that goes into overthinking our outreach. So I wanna help short circuit that. And similarly, also releasing a template, a bank of LinkedIn prompts, which will help you in those moments that you just don't know what to write about on LinkedIn.
You will, of course, also have developed a content strategy, so you, you may or may not need these, but if you do. I've got you. You're gonna have plenty of ideas. Okay, so you might be asking, how can I join the accelerator? It sounds fabulous, and that is a good question. I will be opening doors to the Accelerator officially on the 12th of June for a period of about a week.
There are a few things that are going to happen over that week when doors are opening. Firstly, I'm going to be running a live masterclass on the 12th of June. The subject of that masterclass is three LinkedIn strategies to get your next three corporate clients. [00:17:00] You can sign up to that masterclass at www.elliescarf.com/class LinkedIn.
That's a bit of mouthful, so I'll put that link in the show notes. I'm also going to beholding. An open house. And an open house is where I will show you exactly what is inside the accelerator. So I'll poke around, I'll show you the curriculum, I'll show you the community. Gosh, I didn't even mention that.
We have a great community. and I'll answer all your questions, but I'm only going to be announcing this to people who are on. The mailing list already. you'll get that notification. It won't be something you have to sign up for. You'll just get the link and two time options and you can just come along so you can sign up, to the newsletter so that you get that announcement [email protected] or again, I'll put it in the show notes.
And of course, we have all the details of the accelerator over at www.elliescarf.com/cca. And [00:18:00] now in order to join the accelerator, the practical step you'll need to take, and whether that's after the masterclass or if you are pretty clear that you are interested, you'll need to book an Accelerator Fit Call with me.
And in that call, we are going to figure out if the accelerator is a good fit for your business. What you wanna achieve, and you can ask me any questions you have about coaching business or about the accelerator. This is absolutely a no obligation call, but it is the way that you can lock in, access to launch bonus pricing.
And so just to give you all the information on the price of the accelerator, I'm, I'm a big believer in transparency. The accelerator is currently priced at. in US dollars 4,997 US dollars for 12 months, and we always have 12 month payment plans also so that you can pay on a month by month basis. In July.
After this launch, the pricing will be going up significantly to reflect the new team coming on board, and it will be priced at [00:19:00] $7,999 for the 12 months, after July. So this is your last chance to join at existing prices. So if you have been wondering. I would say book in a call now and we can figure out if it's right for you.
So a launch bonus that you'll, you'll hear more about is that if you book a an accelerator fit call for launch week, so that is between the 12th and the 20th of June, you will be eligible for all of the launch bonuses, and that includes a $500 discount on the price, which takes it down 4,497 US dollars.
Or $410 if you would like to take up the 12 month payment plan option. You'll also get free access to all the curriculum for July before you officially kick off, with your cohort at the start of August. And if you attend the masterclass. Or you book in your call before the 12th. So if you book from the link that you'll, you'll find in the show notes, you'll also be eligible to [00:20:00] receive an extra free month on your membership, right?
Which makes it 13 months that you are part of the program for. So to book this call in, use a link in the show notes or head over to LinkedIn and just drop me a message. Say that you'd like the booking link and I will get you booked in. There are going to be limited spaces for these calls during that week 'cause we've got a lot on, so it would be great to get you booked in, um, before I open it up on the masterclass where I expect a lot of those spaces will fill up.
So this is a bit of a, an early access offer. So I really look forward to meeting some of you soon. And I'm just so grateful that I get to do this work with, with people, um, such as yourself. So if you've ever thought, I really thought it would be easier than this to start my business, if you've ever doubted your ability to successfully grow your business.
If you are worried about selling and visibility or worried about credibility as a new coach, you are in good company, and I wanna be [00:21:00] your cheerleader and your supporter and take you and your business to, to the next level. So please, yeah. Book a call in. Keep an eye out for more information on the masterclass.
Come along. and I'd really love to meet you. Talk to you again soon.
