The third and final thing that I want you to do before doors open is a bit of a self and business reflection or, or assessment if you like.
And so I want you to ask yourself these four questions and look, leaving aside the launch of the the corporate to Coach Accelerator, the doors open. I want you to ask yourself these questions if you are a coach in business, and the first is what is going well in my business? And I always start with this because honestly, you can't take the positive psychology out of this coach.
And I think it is really important that when we think about what we are, how we wanna grow our business, and what we're gonna lean into that we think about how do we do more of what we know works, right? That's really important because each of us have different strengths, we have different [00:08:00] preferences.
So I want you to think about what is going well. The second thing I want you to think about is, you know, what are your, what are the biggest challenges you're experiencing and how would you articulate those? Is it, is it a, a practical challenge? Is it a mindset challenge? Really take the time to do a, a bit of a brainstorm on that.
Like, for some people, the biggest challenge might not be the business at all. It might be, you know, the juggle, right? The juggle of, of the. The emotional load on the home front, but you know, maybe that's it for you or maybe for you. It is all about clients getting more clients in the door. The third question I want you to ask is how you want to feel in your business?
How do you wanna feel when you market your business when you're in delivery mode? And when you sit back at the end of the day and you think, huh, I'm, I'm doing it right. I'm, I'm, I'm running my business. So [00:09:00] maybe project yourself, you know, six months, three years into the future and think, how do I want my business to feel?
Because that is what we need to work back from just as much as we do our revenue targets. So I want you to really think about embodying that ideal feeling. How do you wanna feel? And then finally, the fourth question I want you to ask is, what is the gap that you need help with? And so is it that you don't know what you don't know?
Is it the transition from corporate to coach? Right? So making the leap out of corporate, is it actually. That you simply don't know how one goes about getting clients, right? And you need a system, you need a structure, and you need support. Is it pricing that you've got? Actually no idea about benchmarks.
Is it accountability to do what you already know you need to do, but you are finding that you're getting in your own way? Is it navigating specific deals and [00:10:00] opportunities, right? So, so knowing what to ask and what, what opportunities you might. Unearth through the conversations you are having is, is it all of these things?
I want you to reflect on this. I can definitely help you during our discovery call. Really think about this gap and help you identify what is the gap that you need to bridge and how can you bridge that, and I'll help you with that. Whether or not you choose to join, because. I know I've said this and it probably sounds a bit disingenuous, but I really love talking to coaches and I will do that no matter whether I, whether I get paid, right.
So I want you to do that to help us with our conversation and because just doing this reflection gives you clarity because until you understand the gap between where you are and where you wanna be. And what it is that you need help with, it is going to feel a lot like confusion, like murkiness. And this is gonna translate as procrastination or avoidance or or fixating on things that [00:11:00] don't really turn the dial.
